BreatheAlpha is designed to help you build a smoke-free life while keeping your personal journey private.
We do not require an account, sell personal information, serve advertising, or track you across apps and websites.
1. Information stored on your device
The app may store the name you choose to enter, quit date, smoking history, cigarette pricing, preferred currency and language, notification preferences, completed lessons, badges, and progress calculations. This information is used to personalize your experience and is stored locally on your device.
2. Data collection and sharing
BreatheAlpha does not operate user accounts or a cloud profile and does not transmit your quit-smoking progress to BreatheAlpha servers. We do not sell, rent, or share your app data with advertisers or data brokers.
3. Notifications
If you grant notification permission, reminders and milestone messages are scheduled through your device’s operating system. You can change notification settings at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
4. Device services
The app may rely on standard Apple and Expo runtime services to deliver core functionality such as local storage and notifications. BreatheAlpha does not use advertising identifiers, third-party advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
5. Deleting your information
You can reset your progress from the app’s Settings screen. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored BreatheAlpha data, subject to any device backups controlled by you or Apple.
6. Children
BreatheAlpha is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Health information
The app provides general educational and wellness information. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease and does not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app’s features or legal requirements change. The latest version and revision date will always be available on this page.
